Google UK just launched a new search video ad format which can be bought via keywords and CPC (or in this case: CPV = Cost Per View, as it’s a video). At the moment it’s only working for entertainment brands like TV shows or movies. Be fast, and check it out here.
I think almost all of us have tried to explain once to someone to check out a certain area/neighborhood of a town for stores, bars, restaurants, etc. Yahoo! made a nice iPhone/iPod touch App (other platforms under construction) that will allow you to search exactly like that.
I just tried it and it works. If you’re having a Google account you can mark locations you find on Google Maps and they will show up if you open google.com from your mobile phone. Nice and useful as you cannot access your personal GMaps from your mobile, yet.
