YouTube just launched a new platform/service called “YouTube direct” where you (& the crowd) can become part of your favorite news site. It allows each website owner to add the YouTube video upload functionality on their site to have users submit their contents. It also comes with an admin page for the website owner for content approval. The reporter is YOU!
