OMG! In Spain Movistar, the mobile phone company of Telefonica, already set up their own 2D Barcode called “Bidi” (Bi-Dimensional)… and it’s not a standard. Now, Microsoft’s trying the same with their “Microsoft Tag” (Who’s idea was this naming?). Why, Microsoft? Why? And why these fancy colors? You’d always have to print polychrome… and who thought about street light or darkness which could have an effect on the resulting colors?
